We collect what it takes to send you a mask and keep the store working. Nothing is sold on.
Who we are
Firelight sells a red and near-infrared light therapy mask direct to customers in the United States. This policy explains what we do with your information when you browse the site or place an order.
What we collect
- Order details: name, shipping address, email, phone number, what you bought
- Payment details: handled entirely by our payment processor. We can see that a payment succeeded and the last digits of the card. We never see or store the full card number
- Account details, if you create one: email, password (stored encrypted) and saved addresses
- Site usage: pages viewed, device and browser type, and how you arrived — only once you accept cookies
- Anything you write to us in a support or returns email
Why we use it
- To take payment, ship your order and send you tracking
- To handle returns, warranty claims and support questions
- To screen orders for fraud
- To understand which pages work and fix the ones that do not
- To measure and target our advertising
We do not currently run a marketing email list. If that changes, you will be asked to opt in first, and every message will have a one-click unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that make the store work: our payment processor, our shipping carriers, our order and hosting platform, our analytics provider, and Meta for advertising measurement. Each gets the minimum they need for that job. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and advertising
Essential cookies keep your cart and login working and cannot be switched off. Analytics and advertising cookies — including Meta advertising tools — only run after you accept them in the banner. You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account and marketing data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising. Just ask — we do not charge for any of this, and we will come back to you within 30 days.
Children
The store is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
